Education and CSI Certification Preparation

Wade has been conducting CSI Certification Exam Preparation programs on behalf of the Raleigh Durham Chapter since moving to Raleigh in 2001. The natiional exam process has evolved during this time to now include exams both in the Spring and the Fall of each year. Wade has modified and developed a program in conjunction with the SpecGuy.com resource and study modules to now offer a 13 week program meeting once a week 2 hour sessions in select locations around the Triangle area.

The exam preparation program has been approved on behalf of the CSI chapter by the AIA for both HSW and SD level CEU's hours; with 2 hours for each session.

Wade has been involved locally and within the firms to which he has been associated with preparation of individuals that are seeking their LEED Professional Accreditation.

Annually, since 2004, Wade has been presenting programs for the local CSI chapter describing both the LEED building certification updates and changes and also the process for achieving the LEED AP specialties as they have been revised and modified over the years.


Most recently, Wade added new education programs on behalf of the USGBC Triangle chapter to his growing library of presentations; including clarification and instruction for the LEED credentialing program and preparation for the LEED GA exam. 

  • At the GreenNC Conference, held in September 2010, Wade presented a program which described the latest changes from USGBC/GBCI and the process for Credential Maintenance for any LEED AP (without Specialty) individuals that are looking to update and change their status to include a Specialty with their credentials.
  • In April and MAy 2011 Wade presented a three session LEED GA exam preparation program using the GBCI recommended session format.
  • In May Wade presented a LEED AP credentialing update titled "Demystifying the LEED CMP", at the National Solar Conference 2011 held in Raleigh.

Currently Wade is the Chair for the Education, Technical, and Certification Committees for the CSI Raleigh Durham Chapter, and the Certification Chair for the CSI Southeast Region and is a member of the Education Committee for the USGBC Triangle chapter.
