
Wade Bevier, CSI - Certified Construction Specifier and USGBC/GBCI - LEED AP BD+C Accredited Professional, has extensive experience in the public sector of the construction and building requirements at both the State and Federal levels with successful delivery of project documentation in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and Indiana; as well as an assortment of rapid assessment military projects following recent natural disasters in western Florida and Louisiana.

In addition to working with a number of Architectural in-house office master technical specifications, Wade has experience working and coordinating with the ARCOM AIA MasterSpec, SpecTEXT, SpecsIntact national master guide specifications and coordinating the project documentation with the Owners Requirements/Guidelines and the design directives and elements of the Design Team.
Wade has worked closely with all the Design Team members in coordinating and developing the Quality Assurance process between the Drawings and the Technical Specifications with special efforts made to develop the Administrative Requirements of the project at each phase of the Design Schedule.
Wade in an experienced resource that will bring his knowledge and expertise of the design and construction process to all the members of the Design Team and will gladly offer his insight and opinion throughout the design activity.
Wade has developed and manages a comprehensive listing of manufacturer's web sites to quickly and effectively link to the materials and assemblies that are best suited for the needs of the Owner and the Design Team for any given project.
As an affiliate of the Triangle section of the AIA North Carolina chapter of the American Institute of Architects, Wade remains close to the issues that are at the forefront of the concerns being dealt with by the Project and Design Teams. He can help the members of the team find solutions to the many challenges that are typical to a modern building project.
For many years Wade has been evaluating and observing the new technologies as they have been developed and utilized in the building design as related to the high performance, conservation, and sustainable design strategies.
For over 10 years Wade has been personally tracking the national and local efforts and programs being developed for quantifying and coordinating the building certification process for the sustainable and high performance goals as they relate to the design and construction of the built environment.
Through experience with the USGBC - LEED certification, Green Globes, CHPS (California High Performance Schools), Triangle-J High Performance Guidelines, among other programs; Wade has been developing language and supporting forms to specify the contract requirements in the construction documentation to assure they include the achievable goals as intended by the client and design team.
Wade is an Educator and Facilitator with CSI (Construction Specifications Institute) at the Chapter level, with over 10 years experience helping various individuals in the Design and Construction Community prepare for and achieve the valuable and prestigious CSI Certifications including the basic prerequisite certificate CDT (Construction Document Technologist), advanced certifications for CCS (Certified Construction Specifier) and CCCA (Certified Construction Contract Administrator). Wade has also held positions at the Regional and National levels of the CSI organization developing the delivery and content of the certification and other Technical programs offered by the Institute.
